Huawei P8 Lands in Australia

You’d remember a while ago, we visited Singapore courtesy of Huawei to launch to the Asia Pacific region the latest piece of tech in Huawei’s smartphone arsenal, the Huawei P8.

Now it’s time to announce that the Huawei P8 is available in Australia!

Stocked now in JB Hi-Fi, Dick Smith and Harvey Norman, the leading Chinese produced (and Apple i-Phone-surpassing) Huawei P8 is available for as little as $0 on the Vodafone $70 monthly plan and brings with its majorly affordable deal so many winning features that set it well apart from its competitors.

The Huawei is number 1 for design. Everything has been thought of in the little technological package that makes it better, faster, more packed with benefits and features and a greater tool to use than its Samsung, Apple or HTC counterparts.

The Huawei P8 advanced low-light camera is breaking new ground. It’s the first smartphone in the world to feature a 4-colour RGBW sensor to capture richer, deeper colours with the 13MP rear camera. The P8 also includes a unique light painting mode, enabling infinite creative possibilities by way of allowing light to be captured with a slower aperture, making for brilliant photos.

These are some we took in Singapore with the unique feature…

Already the Huawei P8 has sold over one million units in the Asia Pacific region in its first two months of availability; touring the desirability of its design.

Its premium all metal unibody, advanced lowlight camera, tough Gorilla Glass screen and sophisticated design mean the Huawei P8 all benefit from being the first smartphone in Australia to come with the Huawei Screen Promise. The Screen promise offers consumers 12 months free cracked screen replacement when a new Huawei P8 is purchased between 29 July and 31 December 2015.

Vodafone Sales Director, Ben McIntosh, said “Huawei P8’s massive 5.2 inch full HD screen and 13MP camera mean you’ll have no trouble keeping all your Instagram followers happy and be able to enjoy streaming all your favourite music and video content on Vodafone’s fast and reliable 4G network.”

“The Huawei P8 has all of the modern features you’d expect packaged within an aluminium body that has a premium look and feel. It’s also available for $0 upfront on Vodafone’s $70 Red plan, so it really does offer a premium smartphone experience without the premium smartphone price tag. We’re excited to be offering our customers such a high quality smartphone on our value packed plans.”

Vodafone will exclusively stock the Huawei P8 White smartphone from 5 August, available for $0 on the $70 RED Plan over 24 months (conditions apply).

The Huawei P8 Titanium Grey (Dual Sim) smartphone will be available from 29 July for $699 RRP at JB Hi-Fi, Dick Smith and Harvey Norman.
