H&M X Balmain In Australia

Now that Sydney’s largest and most wide ranged H&M flagship store has set-up shop and is imminently throwing open its doors to the public, the H&M X Balmain collaboration that has taken a stranglehold on the world is soon to come home.

H&M will be introducing a select collection of the global retail giant’s latest and most widely celebrated designer collaboration to-date with Paris fashion house Balmain, headed by young entrepreneur and creative genius Olivier Rousteing. The collection is all him, which you can’t escape upon first sight; heavy embellishing make the dresses that Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid wore through all of Paris Fashion Week recently stand-out with no effort whatsoever, while the more subdued pieces with gold embroidery, placket detailing, fabric enhancements and just unique fabrics in general such as full wool for the men or velvet for the ladies mean the collection is as unique as you’d hope.

No expense has been spared on the collection, the prices for which can range from the $100 – $600 mark depending on style and, of course, demand. The renowned dresses as worn by models that punctuate the brand film for the collection are part of a small and select four-piece capsule that has been imported in a minimal and selective range of sizes to maintain exclusivity and keep the Balmain spirit alive.

The H&M X Balmain collection will launch to Australian stores five days after the new Sydney boutique’s official opening to the public on 31 October 2015 on Pitt St. Mall.
