Hilton Hotel South Wharf’s bohemian Summer Sleepover

They turned the rooms of Hilton Hotel South Wharf and DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton into a summery, bohemian escape and it looks stunning!

Melbourne interiors and homewares business Sage & Clare teamed-up with the Hilton brand to offer the hotels’ customers something different this season for their summer sleepovers.

By adorning the walls of one room in each hotel with summery decorations, colour and bold, fresh and invigorating design elements, the rooms take-on a new element as an enlivened escape from the city.

With hotter temperatures on the rise as New Years Eve approaches (here’s a list of things to do in Melbourne if you’re yet to make plans!), the Hilton rooms are sporting some sensational rugs, bean bags, candles, feathered adornments and a stunningly camp array of multicoloured baubles above the head of their beds to awaken guests’ sense of summer atmosphere.

If you’re wondering where inspiration for the colourful explosion of their taste comes from; look toward the vibrancy and energy of all things India.

They’ve taken to bold, block-coloured vases for faux flowers to add colour, highly decorative throw rugs, floor rugs and pillow coverings to punctuate an otherwise clean-palette room and feathers on anything they can to add that insurmountable bohemian feel.

Couple that with Hilton South Wharf’s stunning city vista down the length of the Yarra, the shining beacon of gold that is the Eureka Tower and the glistening blue skies of a summer’s day, the room really comes to life.

“For those who want an urban escape this summer, we are offering a unique experience that captures everything Australian’s love about summer, in the heart of downtown Melbourne,” said Craig Bonnor, general manager of Hilton Melbourne South Wharf.

Summer Sleepover room available for the general public to book between 17 December 2016 and 15 January 2017. Guests will also enjoy a 15 percent discount on Sage x Clare products when shopping online at their website.
