There’s a lot more to the Grand Prix than fast cars thanks to Heineken
Turns out there’s a lot more that goes on at the Melbourne International Formula One Grand Prix than just racing super fast cars, if Heineken has anything to do with it.
And no, it doesn’t just involve screaming at Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne from the sidelines, either…
To mark the occasion that was the latest iteration of Heineken Saturdays, they brought down none other than UK award-winning drum and bass prodigies Rudimental to take the stage and bring the house down with an exclusive live DJ set.
The band were supported by none other than upcoming virtuoso Hayden James who belted out his hits and brought the atmosphere up to a fever pitch in the lead up to Rudimental. They took the stage in the Heineken Village and punters were treated to a set that was jam-packed with hits and a phenomenal performance.
There are very few acts that can provide the kind of atmosphere as what Rudimental accomplished, the Heineken Village was transformed into a pop-up music festival and it was an absolute treat for guests at the brand’s massive undertaking as well as passers-by.
The Heineken Village is the largest event space that Heineken has ever created in Australia and provided racegoers with a unique, interactive setting to watch all the race action on the supersized screen. No wonder it was so well-received.
