Future Music in Melbourne

Stepping into the Flemington Showgrounds, home of the Future Music Festival when it does its national round through Melbourne is like entering another world.

Carnival rides keep everything who’s not half pie-eyed by midday, entertained while everyone else watches the lesser known artists while drinking their own bodyweight in alcohol before the authorities tighten the rules.

It’s as funny as it is an awesome experience.

Stylish cool kids, models, photographers and music lovers alike pack the ground through the course of the day to witness this year’s line-up of some pretty top-notch acts.

Drake, Die Antwoord,2 Chainz were amongst the biggest headliners that drew the crowds and hard music lovers to kick it til midnight on the Sunday.

There were lots of rough heads the following morning, but judging by the style choices of most; it was definitely worth it.
