Fashion Aid 2013

In support of the work Heart Kids does for the 1-in-6 children born with an issue with their heart, businessmen, entrepreneurs, ‘celebrities’ and some media flocked to Melbourne’s Crown Casino on the sparkling Yarra boulevard for a charity-meets-fashion event like no other.

In a display of emerging designers’ success with the support of what felt like countless corporate sponsors and partners, designers and charity workers’ heart beats were audible with excitement and nervousness.

Displaying such design talent, mostly acquired tastes, such as Alin Le’Kal, Active Runway, Beluccio – synonymous with dressing beauty pageant winners – and design talent Matcho Suba, renowned for a public foray onto the scene some years ago, Fashion Aid 2013 showed support for creativity and charity in unison.

THE F was lucky enough to shoot some arriving celebrities and guests on the red carpet as they arrived as well as many a runway shot of some great collections, flanked by very fit, very fierce dancing troupes.
