Farfetch Japan has happened

In true Japanese style, incorporating all things tech and geek with a hint of ‘I wanna be a part of it’ cool, Farfetch has built a new website for Japan and celebrated in conjunction with the launch of the Restir boutique.

This year, the store won Farfetch‘s Superstore competition and celebrated by putting together some winning video content in the land of the rising sun.

It’s a unique idea with the interactive fashion film set against the country’s diverse and beautiful landscapes. You can create a character at the Farfetch website, change their looks and the landscapes they interact with, chopping each item you dress them in right from the screen. It’s so Japanese.

Inspired by Japan’s homegrown Manga art form, the film combines live action with animation, creating a very clever visual.
