The Cosmopolitan Fun, Fearless Female Awards

Cosmo Awards 2

I am no feminist, but I can totally appreciate the effortful work the women of today put into the work they do, both professionally and for equal opportunity.

This is why, when it comes to things like the Cosmopolitan Magazine‘s Fun, Fearless, Female Awards, I hoist my lady bits up and get a little rowdy to celebrate what women are vying for the prestigious prize in 2013.

The annual awards honour some women across eight fairly diverse categories such as singing, personality, radio, blogging, sportswomanship, fashion design skill, authoring and role modelling.

This year there are ten nominees in each category, including singers Jessica Mauboy and Cheyenne Tozzi;

TV’s Jesinta Campbell and Melanie Vallejo; radio’s Rachel Corbett and Maz Compton; ‘bloggers’

Tash and Elle from Theyallhateus.com and Rebecca Judd from rebeccajuddloves.com; swimmer

Cate Campbell and basketballer Liz Cambage; fashion’s Watson x Watson and Amber Sceats; authors

Turia Pitt and Jessica Irvine, plus ten inspiring role models.

These women in turn for their vying for the right to call themselves winner will undergo a Cosmpolitan reader’s vote online from 2 September 2013 at cosmopolitan.com.au/funfearlessfemale, from which the votes will be tallied and winners drawn for presentation on 13 November.

Good luck women.
