St. Collins Lane Opens With A New Coach Store
St. Collins Lane is Melbourne’s latest shopping precinct that helps to bump Australia’s artistic, fashion and sporting city into the ether that is international retail and fashion martyrdom.
Joining the stratospherical projection into the future for Melbourne, the new shopping centre on Collins St., up the affectionately named ‘Paris End’, is home to heaps of new and redeveloped fashion outlets you want to know about. REISS London, Sandro and Coach have opened stores there, just to make a splash and Australia couldn’t be more excited.
It’s like the time COS opened its first Australian store on the corner of Lt. Bourke St. and Elizabeth in Melbourne to much aplomb.
Coach’s new store showcases all that’s good in the brand since creative director, Stuart Vevers decided to take the reigns a while back.
The new Coach store design was developed by Vevers and in partnership with world-renowned creative firm Studio Sofield. Drawing from a wide range of influences, the concept places a premium on contrasting textures and luxe materials.
A 4,305 square foot retail space, the Coach St Collins Lane store will be the flagship. Warm and inviting, the store’s design reflects the sophisticated yet playful refinement of New York – the city the brand has always called home.
Located on the ground floor of the St Collins Lane mall complex, the flagship will carry the widest range of product for the Australian market, offering categories that include women’s and men’s Coach NY leather goods, outerwear, footwear and accessories. The store will also be the first to stock ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories from COACH 1941, the brand’s most elevated expression of Coach.
