Burger Project has a new app that makes burgers your new go-to food

Burger Project, Australia’s latest burger infatuation that carries the moniker of chef Neil Perry has just gone 2.0 with the introduction of its latest offering – the Burger Project app.

Not only is it opening a new store in Sydney’s Broadway Shopping Centre right in the heart of the city, the app also offers a new points system, which allows loyal burger heads to accumulate points to score, yep you guessed it, more burgers.

The free app can be used across all 11 Burger Projects in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and the points system works by way of users earning 10 loyalty points for every $1 spent. They can redeem $10 credit for every 2000 points, or $30 credit for every 5000 points, and earn 10 points if they check in to Burger Project via Facebook on the app.

Credit can then be used to purchase anything from the menu. That means a free Classic burger for the first 5000 users who download the app, or the credit can be put towards other menu items.

Sweet tooth types could score two complimentary Valrhona chocolate or vanilla bean, house churned, soft serve waffle cones. Or those in a quandary about cashing in their $10 free credit for something savoury or sweet could go for a dream combo of chips and an ice cream dessert.

Those who refrain from redeeming their credit too early can bank a feast for themselves and five friends with the redemption of 25,000 points. But the jackpot item, for die-hard fans of the famed burger, is the recipe for Burger Project Founder Neil Perry AM’s legendary ‘secret sauce’, which can be earned with a whopping 250,000 points.

Other app benefits will include skipping busy queues by ordering ahead, making mobile payments, and taking advantage of exclusive offers and menu items. Go, get it!
