Bom Fromage cheese festival Carriageworks Sydney

There’s a free cheese festival, Bon Fromage, coming to Sydney this weekend

Last year Melbourne copped its own cheese festival, satisfying the cheese needs of thousands but this year, it’s Sydney’s turn.

Carriageworks will come alive this weekend from 14-15 October, celebrating with half a tonne of European fromage, presented by the one-and-only Centre National Interprofessionel de l’Economie Laitiere (CNIEL) with the support of the European Union.

With all the kinds of cheese, from all the European regions that have made is such a staple of a thing for so many, it only makes sense that the likes of Australia’s largest ever cheese board is one of the main attractions.

French Cheese ambassador Xavier Thuret will be there and the best bit? It’s a free event.

Bon Fromage is on at Carriageworks from Sat Oct 14 to Sun Oct 15. 11am-6pm. Entry is free.
