It’s that time of year again – the annual Night Noodle Markets are coming to Hyde Park, offering-up some of the city’s finest Asian fare.

The Night Noodle Markets returns to Hyde Park on 5-22 October as part of Australia’s largest food festival Good Food Month, presented by Citi.

Setting Sydney alight with the smells, sights and sounds of forty sizzling hawker-style stalls, the Night Noodle Markets will see food-lovers feast on signature dishes and innovative tastes from the likes of Din Tai Fung, Mamak, House of Crabs, Indu, Chur Burger, Gelato Messina and Black Star Pastry.

  • For a taste of Taiwan: Taiwanese noodles at Taiwan Noodle House – New addition Taiwan Noodle House are serving their hand-pulled noodles topped with five spice beef broth and roast meat. For something less traditional, Mr Bao have turned the classic Taiwanese street food on its head with their ‘Crackling Pork Belly Bao-less Sanger’, replacing the taco-shaped bao with pork belly pieces, packed with oozy egg yolk and a delicious Asian Slaw inside.
  • For a taste of the PhilippinesBBQ Pork Skewers at Hoy Pinoy – Hoy Pinoy is a constant star of the Night Noodle Markets, drawing a crowd with their fiery, smoky barbecues grilling succulent skewers – their pork skewers glazed with sweet and sour banana ketchup are not to be missed.
  • For a taste of Southern India – Smoked Goat Dosa at Indu – Indu make their night Noodle Market Debut, bringing village Indian culture to Hyde Park with this traditional pancake.
  • For a taste of Kuala Lumpur: Roti Canai at Mamak – The award-winning Mamak returns to Hyde Park, this year with their much-loved roti with boneless chicken curry.
  • For a taste of South Korea: Korean potato at Twistto – Locally sourced potatoes are hand-cut into 35mm-long spirals before being battered, flash fried and topped with a range of sprinklings like chicken salt, salt and vinegar, chilli or cracked pepper.

  • For a taste of Kyoto – Yakisoba at Little Kyoto – These Night Noodle market favourites have perfected the sizzling stir-fried Japanese noodles.
